Apparently, over the winter months, Gordon opened up a studio here in my town of San Antonio, TX. He was scouting for new bands, helping them make demos, etc. I’m not sure if he is still here, but he said that he had/has the intention of exposing the underground music scene in San Antonio much like that of Houston, and even Austin.

Gordon is the producer of Is This It and Room On Fire, he stepped down during the early stages of First Impressions of Earth which allowed David Kahne to be the sole producer of the record. Let’s be honest; we don’t know much about Gordon. He’s produced records for several Indie bands and Regina Spektor’s Soviet Kitsch. He was a keyboardist in the band Sky Cries Mary. And above all, the man knows how to roll a joint.
